Bid Writer – Essex – Main Contractor

I am currently recruiting for a Bid Writer for a principal main contractor in the Essex area to work on a mixture of new build and refurbishment commercial, education & leisure projects with values of schemes ranging between £1 – £15 million.

Key Duties

Planning and managing the production of bid documentation, from project approval launch to tender submission and post tender interview.
Responsible for the overall writing, production and quality of submission documents.
Managing online and offline written media content as appropriate. Skills

Solid and proven bid writing experience with a high level of English including spelling, punctuation and grammar
Experience of working in the construction environment and understanding of the tender process
Excellent time management and organisation skills
Excellent attention to detail throughout the bidding and marketing process
Solid experience in Advanced Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to provide creative solutions and problem solve
A good team player and communicator who is able to work with all levels of the organisationMy client are looking to pay a competitive basic salary including car allowance, travel and pension with the position looking to start ASAP but the client is happy to wait if the candidate has a notice period.
