Your New Company is seeking an experienced and dedicated Freelance Site Manager to oversee a new build and extension project for a school in Lancashire. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a significant educational development, ensuring the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Your new role
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise all on-site activities, ensuring compliance with project plans and specifications.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement effective solutions.
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and reports.
- Liaise with the client and project team to provide regular updates and address any concerns.
What you’ll need to succeed
- Proven experience as a Site Manager, preferably in educational or similar construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Relevant qualifications in construction management or a related field.
- CSCS card and SMSTS certification are essential.
