Site Manager – Social Housing Refurbishment
Location: Bolton
Salary: £50,000 – £55,000 + benefits
We are working in partnership with a well-established contractor to recruit an experienced Site Manager to deliver social housing refurbishment projects across the Bolton area.
This role will focus primarily on retrofit works and kitchens & bathrooms programmes, managing live, occupied housing stock and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and to a high standard.
The Role
As Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of refurbishment projects, overseeing subcontractors, direct labour and supply chain partners while acting as the main point of contact on site.
Key responsibilities include:

Managing retrofit and kitchen & bathroom refurbishment works in occupied social housing
*
Ensuring health & safety compliance at all times
*
Coordinating subcontractors, labour and materials
*
Monitoring programme, quality and cost control
*
Liaising with clients, residents and internal teams
*
Conducting site inspections and ensuring works meet required standards
*
Maintaining accurate site records and reporting progress
About You
To be considered, you should have:
*
Proven experience as a Site Manager within social housing refurbishment
*
Strong background in retrofit, kitchens and bathrooms, or planned works
*
Experience working in occupied properties
*
SMSTS, CSCS (Black or Gold) and First Aid (preferred)
*
Strong communication and organisational skills
*
Ability to manage multiple trades and tight programmes
