£60,000–£70,000 per annum + package

We’re recruiting a Senior Engineer to join a major £20m new-build Distribution Centre project in Newport. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved from the ground up on a flagship logistics scheme, delivered by a contractor with a strong track record in industrial and distribution projects as part of a wider regional expansion programme.

The Role
As Senior Engineer, you’ll take the lead on all on-site engineering activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, accurately, and in line with programme and specification requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Lead setting out and provide day-to-day technical oversight on site

Manage and check design information, drawings, and specifications

Oversee temporary works, permits, ITPs, and QA processes

Produce and maintain accurate site records, including as-builts and technical reports

Implement and manage ITPs to ensure quality standards are achieved

Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements

Promote a safe and proactive site culture at all times

About You

Strong background in groundworks, drainage, concrete, steel frames, and external works

Confident reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications

Degree, HNC, or HND in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)

Valid CSCS card
