Site Engineer
We're working with a leading UK civil engineering contractor to recruit an experienced Site Engineer for a well established and growing civil engineering contractor. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established contractor delivering complex infrastructure works across Scotland.
As Site Engineer, you'll play a key role in the successful delivery of works on site, supporting the project team with setting out, quality control, and technical compliance while maintaining the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
Within this role your duties will include but are not limited to:
Setting out and surveying works in accordance with drawings and specifications
Managing and interpreting engineering drawings and technical information
Ensuring works are delivered to required quality standards and tolerances
Assisting with RAMS, permits, and site documentation
Coordinating with subcontractors, supervisors, and site management
Supporting progress reporting and as-built records
The successful applicant for this role, will be able to demonstrate:
Previous experience as a Site Engineer within civil engineering or infrastructure projects
Strong setting-out skills using GPS and total station equipment
Sound knowledge of health & safety and quality procedures
Ability to work independently and as part of a site-based team
Relevant engineering qualification (HNC/HND/Degree or equivalent)
