Project Manager – Fencing & De-vegetation | Malmesbury (Wales & Southwest)
Location: Malmesbury (covering Wales & Southwest)
Salary: Up to £50,000 in Year 1 + progression

We’re looking for a Project Manager to join our fencing and de-vegetation team, overseeing operations, mentoring site teams, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and to specification.
️ The Role
As Project Manager, you’ll take ownership of every stage of your projects, from planning to completion, while guiding and supporting your teams. You’ll:
Lead fencing and de-vegetation projects from initial enquiry through to delivery and review
Appoint and manage Site Managers and Supervisors, ensuring compliance with company and client standards
Comply with Network Rail standards
Produce and monitor project documentation and HSQE plans to maintain safe systems of work
Manage tenders, risk reviews, and client communications
Mentor site teams, supporting their growth and ensuring high-quality delivery
Be the key operational contact for your region, ensuring smooth project delivery
About You
You’re a confident, hands-on manager who thrives on delivery. You’ll bring:
Proven project/contracts management experience in the UK rail sector
SMSTS certification
Valid PTS
Strong HSQE and safety compliance knowledge
Experience leading and mentoring teams on-site
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
A practical, solutions-focused approach to project challenges
Exsisting fencing or de-veg experience (desirable)
