The Role
The London team is seeking a capable and confident Senior Building Surveyor to support and lead a varied workload across Higher Education, Healthcare and Ministry of Justice estates, acting for well-known public-sector clients.
You will be responsible for delivering projects from inception through to completion, including:
Developing project briefs and providing technical and design input
Writing specifications and managing tender processes
Contract administration and project management through to final account
Delivering a full scope of professional building surveying advice to major property and asset owners
Building strong client relationships through excellent stakeholder engagement
(Desirable) Involvement in dilapidations instructions, though this is not essential
This is a hands-on, client-facing role offering genuine autonomy, variety and professional challenge.
About You
You will be an ambitious and commercially aware Senior Building Surveyor who enjoys working in a consultancy environment and contributing to team success.
You will ideally have:
A proven background within a building surveying consultancy
MRICS qualification, or be within 18 months of achieving chartership
Strong technical capability across core building surveying and project delivery services
Experience managing projects with confidence from start to finish
Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management ability
A positive, proactive mindset and appetite for career progression
