Senior Mechanical Estimator

Our client is a leading National M&E contractor who is looking for a Senior Mechanical Estimator to join their Leeds team, focusing on high profile, technically complex mechanical and electrical projects across multiple sectors.

Senior Estimators are a valuable part of the business, where they effectively utilise experience and knowledge within a team to produce tenders and prepare competitive estimates. They have a team of 12 located in Leeds, you would be working alongside a strong team who are planning growth out of their North East & North West offices, there will be opportunity to progress to Estimating Manager in time!

As a Senior Estimator you will
• Ensure that all estimating processes and procedures are followed to deliver a submission following tender settlement
• Work with surveyors in preparation of quantified schedule of rates and bill of quantities
• Prepare tender summaries and attend start-up pre-price and price meetings
• Assist in preparation for settlement meeting enquiring whether risk register, prelims and labour rates have been done.
