Senior Building Surveyor
A well-established multi-disciplinary consultancy is seeking two Senior Building Surveyors to join their London team. The company delivers a full range of design, engineering, surveying, and professional services across the built environment, providing high-quality, innovative solutions for both public and private sector clients. The successful candidates will be qualified surveyors with at least 5 years post-qualification experience, leading a variety of commercial, residential, and public-sector projects. Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage building surveying projects from inception to completion.
Prepare high-quality technical specifications, schedules of works, and tender documentation.
Undertake contract administration, including JCT and other standard forms of contract.
Advise clients on project delivery, procurement, compliance, and risk management.
Conduct building condition surveys, dilapidations, and property inspections.
Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
Mentor and support junior team members, fostering knowledge sharing and professional development.
Maintain excellent client and stakeholder communication throughout projects.
Skills & Experience Required
Fully qualified Building Surveyor (MRICS or equivalent).
Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience in a consultancy environment.
Proven experience managing complex projects independently.
Strong technical expertise in building surveying, contract administration, and construction law.
Experience producing specifications, schedules of work, and tender documentation.
Excellent communication, organisational, and client management skills.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to mentor junior staff and contribute to team development.
