A leading main contractor is seeking a Freelance Electrical M&E Engineer for a 9-month contract on a £80m Ambulatory Diagnostic Centre (ADC) project in West London.

The project is a state-of-the-art, all-electric healthcare facility providing diagnostic imaging (X-ray, CT, MRI), cancer treatment, renal dialysis, and a training and education centre.

Role & Responsibilities

Coordinate and supervise electrical M&E works on site

*

Manage and monitor electrical subcontractors

*

Carry out quality inspections, WIRs, and assist with QVF systems

*

Issue and close out NCRs and CARs

*

Liaise daily with M&E trades, civils and senior engineers

*

Monitor programme and report weekly to the Project Manager

*

Ensure H&S and CDM compliance at the work face

Requirements

*

Strong electrical background within M&E

*

Experience with a main contractor or major M&E subcontractor

*

Subcontractor management experience

*

IT literate with strong attention to detail

*

Building Services qualification advantageous but not essential

Competitive day rate, dependent on experience
