Project Controls Engineer / Project Controller

Our client is seeking a Project Controls Engineer / Project Controller to join their team and support the delivery of a high volume of enhancement projects.

Working in a small PMO team, you will contribute to maintaining effective reporting, governance, project controls, and delivery support across a portfolio of lower-value but fast-moving projects. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth execution of core project controls processes, providing accurate and timely data to support decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain project schedules, cost trackers, risk logs, and reporting packs
Support monthly reporting cycles, governance forums, and progress reviews
Work closely with Project Managers to gather updates and validate project information
Ensure data consistency and quality across all project controls tools and documentation
Assist in embedding standard processes and templates within the PMO

Job Requirements

Experience in project controls or PMO support, ideally within infrastructure or related sectors (airports, rail, highways etc)
Strong attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple smaller tasks at pace
Eager to develop and grow as the PMO matures
