Senior Procurement Manager
I am currently working with a client-side organisation in the public sector / regulated industry who are looking to appoint a Senior Procurement Manager to lead procurement strategy and provide quality control for NEC Professional Services procurement.
This is a full-time role supporting the delivery of large-scale infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will have major infrastructure experience within a regulated environment, be confident leading procurement strategies, and managing the end-to-end procurement process for significant works contracts.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and implement procurement strategies for major works contracts under NEC Professional Services contracts.
Provide quality control and assurance for all procurement documentation.
Manage procurement processes from tender preparation to contract award and post-award governance.
Advise stakeholders on procurement best practice, risk, and compliance.
Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants to ensure seamless delivery.
Maintain excellent client and stakeholder relationships.
Monitor compliance and performance across all procurement activities.
Skills & Experience Required
Proven experience in major infrastructure procurement, ideally in regulated industries or public sector.
Strong understanding of NEC Professional Services contracts.
Experience managing procurement teams and leading procurement strategies.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
Strong analytical skills, with focus on risk, compliance, and quality control.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Competitive salary: £85,000 – £100,000 per annum.
Hybrid working (2-3 days per week onsite in London/Reading).
