One of the UK’s most successful privately owned construction contractors is continuing its growth and is now looking to appoint an experienced Business Development Manager to support ambitious expansion plans and be part of an exciting journey.

This is a key strategic hire, offering the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership to develop new business opportunities and strengthen relationships across existing and emerging sectors.

The Role

As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for:

Identifying and securing new business opportunities across target sectors

*

Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants, and stakeholders

*

Supporting growth plans through framework engagement and bid strategy

*

Managing and developing a strong project pipeline

*

Representing the business at industry events and networking opportunities

*

Working closely with pre-construction and senior leadership teams

About You

*

Minimum 5 years’ experience in Business Development within construction or a related industry

*

Proven success in securing large-scale construction projects

*

Strong understanding of the UK construction market and relevant frameworks

*

Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills

*

Ambitious, proactive, and motivated to be part of a growing business
