Fire Risk Assessor
We are currently working with a well-established and growing fire safety consultancy who are looking to appoint an experienced Fire Risk Assessor to support their expanding fire safety offerings across the North West.
This is an excellent opportunity for a competent fire risk assessor assessor who is looking to take the next step in their career, with added responsibility for mentoring junior team members while continuing to deliver high-quality fire risk assessments to a diverse client base.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive Fire Risk Assessments across a range of residential, commercial and mixed-use properties
Provide technical support and guidance to clients, ensuring compliance with current fire safety legislation and best practice
Mentor and support junior Fire Risk Assessors, including quality assurance and professional development
Prepare clear, accurate and compliant fire risk assessment reports
Liaise with clients, stakeholders and internal teams to ensure recommendations are understood and implemented
Keep up to date with changes in fire safety legislation, standards and guidance
Required
Proven experience as a Fire Risk Assessor
Relevant fire safety qualifications (e.g. NEBOSH Fire, FRA certifications or equivalent) & membership with a relevant fire safety professional body desired
Strong knowledge of current fire safety legislation and guidance
Confident communicating with clients and stakeholders at all levels
Experience mentoring or supporting junior assessors is highly desirable
Full UK driving licence
What’s on Offer
Salary: £50,000 – £65,000, depending on experience
