Senior Building Services Manager
The Company
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Building Services Manager to join a well-established main contractor on a flagship residential development in Acton. The scheme comprises 200 high-specification apartments, including an on-site energy centre, with a substantial £17m MEP value.
This is a true cradle-to-grave role, offering full ownership of MEP delivery from preconstruction through to commissioning and final handover. As a key member of the site leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating design, construction, and commercial functions while driving exceptional standards of quality, safety, and programme performance.
The Role

Lead the full MEP delivery across the project lifecycle, from preconstruction and design coordination through installation, commissioning, and handover
*
Work collaboratively with internal teams and the appointed MEP subcontractor to achieve programme, quality, and commercial objectives
*
Manage MEP design integration with architectural and structural packages
*
Chair and lead MEP progress meetings and coordination workshops
*
Control the issue and management of technical information in line with construction requirements
*
Ensure full compliance with HSE standards and implement robust QA and inspection processes
*
Support the commercial team with package management, forecasting, and cost reporting
*
Coordinate OFCI (Owner Furnished, Contractor Installed) equipment through procurement, installation, and commissioning
*
Liaise with statutory authorities and stakeholders to secure approvals, completion, and final sign-off
What We’re Looking For
*
Proven experience delivering MEP services on large-scale residential or mixed-use developments
*
Track record managing MEP packages valued at £15m+
*
Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and public health systems
*
Experience working in a main contractor, cradle-to-grave delivery environment
*
Confident leading multi-disciplinary coordination and managing technical and programme risk
*
Excellent communication skills with strong attention to detail
*
Electrical bias advantageous, though not essential
*
Comfortable operating in live construction environments with complex logistics
*
Solid understanding of commissioning, handover, and project close-out processes
*
Minimum 10 years’ UK construction experience in a comparable role
