Junior Quantity Surveyor

A leading specialist contractor is seeking a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join the business, working on passive fire protection contracts with project values of up to £6m. You will be based in their London office, workign with an exceptionally strong, supportive team and gain experience across a variety of complex projects.

The Role

You will assist in the commercial management of passive fire protection contracts, supporting senior surveyors and project teams. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your QS career in a specialist sector.

Responsibilities

*

Assisting with measurement and valuation of works

*

Supporting preparation of cost reports, budgets, and forecasts

*

Managing variations and assisting with commercial correspondence

*

Helping prepare final accounts and supporting contract administration

*

Liaising with project teams, subcontractors, and clients

*

Learning and applying knowledge of passive fire protection systems

About You

*

18 months Quantity Surveying experience

*

Previous experience in the passive fire protection sector

*

Strong organisational and communication skills

*

Able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team

*

Proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn
