About the Role

The client is looking for a Graduate Engineer role who is eager to begin their career in construction and engineering. Working closely with the Site Engineer and wider project team, the successful candidate will gain hands-on experience across setting out, construction methodologies, sequencing, and site coordination.

Responsibilities

* Assist the Site Engineer in carrying out daily engineering and setting-out duties

* Develop a strong understanding of engineering principles and setting-out techniques

* Accurately set out works in accordance with drawings and specifications

* Support the implementation of construction sequences and methodologies

* Assist the Site Manager and Project Manager with HSEQ requirements on site

* Maintain accurate site records, including photographs, diaries, and reports

* Measure materials, carry out take-offs, and monitor site stock levels

* Liaise with site personnel, subcontractors, engineers, and material suppliers as required

Requirements

* Hold a degree, HNC or HND in Civil Engineering.

* Strong attention to detail, coupled with thorough planning and organisational skills.

* Strong good communication skills

* Desire to work well as part of a team

* Passionate about starting a career in the civils/construction industry
