Salary: Up to £38,000 (Negotiable depending on experience)

A well-established and respected M&E Contractor based in Solihull is looking to recruit a Junior Electrical Estimator. This role would suit someone from an electrical background who is keen to move into estimating and develop a long-term career within the M&E sector.

Role & Responsibilities

Assist senior estimators with electrical tenders and pricing

*

Take off quantities from drawings and specifications

*

Obtain prices from suppliers and subcontractors

*

Help prepare tender submissions and supporting documents

*

Learn estimating software and commercial processes

*

Support the estimating team across multiple projects

Candidate Requirements

*

Electrical background essential (site or office based)

*

Some estimating or commercial experience preferred but not essential

*

Willingness to learn and progress within estimating

*

Good attention to detail and organisational skills

*

Confident with Excel and basic IT systems

Qualifications

*

NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)

*

City & Guilds qualifications

*

AM2 / HNC / HND in Electrical Engineering (advantageous, not essential)
