Due to continued success, they are looking to strengthen their commercial team and onboard a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join them.
This is a full-time permanent position based in their Nottingham office with the option for flexible working.
Your new role
As Senior Quantity Surveyor, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing contractual and financial aspects of projects, ensuring compliance with company standards and client requirements
- Preparing and reviewing cost estimates, budgets and cash flow forecasts
- Liaising with clients, contractors and suppliers to ensure accurate pricing and timely payment processing
- Performing risk analysis and identifying potential cost savings or value engineering opportunities
- Assisting with the preparation of tender documentation, contract negotiations and final account agreements
- Monitoring project progress, variations and claims as well as providing regular reports to stakeholders.
What you’ll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you must have:
- Proven experience as an experienced Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor in the Civil Engineering industry
- Strong working knowledge of NEC contracts
- Sound analytical, negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Full UK driving licence.
