Site Manager – Industrial New Build
Location: Letchworth, Hertfordshire
Rate: £280–£300 per day (CIS)
Duration: 12 months (Starts January 2026)
Contract Type: Freelance / CIS

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to join a leading main contractor specialising in industrial projects. The role is based on a £20m multi-unit industrial new build scheme in Letchworth, Hertfordshire.

This is a long-term opportunity on a high-profile project, with a start available in the coming weeks.

Responsibilities:

Day-to-day management of site operations on a multi-unit industrial development

*

Managing subcontractors, site logistics, and programme delivery

*

Ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to the required quality standards

*

Coordinating with the Project Manager, design team, and client

*

Maintaining site records, RAMS, and health & safety compliance

*

Driving progress to meet programme milestones

Requirements:

*

Proven experience as a Site Manager with a main contractor

*

Strong background in industrial / commercial new build projects

*

SMSTS, CSCS (Black or Gold), and First Aid certificates

*

Excellent organisational and communication skills

*

Ability to manage multiple units and trades simultaneously

Package:

*

£280–£300 per day via CIS (dependent on experience)

*

12-month contract on a stable, well-funded scheme

*
