Job Title: Water Treatment Service Engineer
Location: Watford, Greater London
Salary/Benefits: £30k – £45k + Training & Benefits
We are recruiting on behalf of a nationwide Water Treatment outfit, who have an excellent reputation and growing presence. Due to winning new contracts, they are seeking a switched-on Water Treatment Service Engineer to cover a range of client sites in the South East of England. Primarily, you will be servicing and installing water treatment systems and components, ensuring optimum performance. Our client can be open-minded with regards to location, as long as candidates are happy to travel in line with company requirements. Locations of work include: Watford, St Albans, Beaconsfield, Luton, High Wycombe, Maidenhead, Slough, Reading, Bracknell, Camberley, Twickenham, Aylesbury, Milton Keynes, Hitchin, Welwyn Garden City, Harlow, Bishop’s Stortford, Cambridge, Enfield, Bedford, Harrow, Wembley, Stoke Mandeville, Southall, Uxbridge, Crowthorne.
Experience / Qualifications:
* Successful track record working as a Water Treatment Service Engineer
* Fully conversant in ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
* It would be advantageous to hold electrical / mechanical qualifications / training, but this is not essential (such as 18th edition)
* Flexible to travel when required
* Hardworking attitude
* Able to use IT software to complete reports
* Good literacy and IT skills
The Role:
* Conducting thorough servicing of existing water treatment systems and components (including water softeners, UV filtration, ROs, CLO2 and chemical dosing equipment
* Installing new systems and components
* Identifying any technical faults and making recommendations for repairs
* Replacing RPZ valves
* Decommissioning of systems and equipment
* Producing thorough quotations for required works
* Attending both PPM and reactive appointments
* Producing regular technical service reports
* Maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction
