Mechanical Project Manager

The Client and Project Info:

My client is a Tier 1 M&E Contractor who are currently recruiting a Mechanical Project Manager to oversee multiple commercial schemes across Cambridgeshire. The role will involve managing mechanical packages on large-scale developments, working across several projects simultaneously.

Mechanical Project Manager Responsibilities:

Managing the delivery of mechanical packages across multiple commercial projects.

*

Coordinating site teams, Mechanical Supervisors, and subcontractors.

*

Overseeing programme, quality, and health & safety performance across all schemes.

*

Managing design coordination, technical submissions, and procurement activities.

*

Working closely with clients, consultants, and internal commercial teams.

*

Ensuring QA, commissioning, and handover documentation is completed to a high standard.

*

Identifying and resolving technical and programme risks across the portfolio of projects.

*

Attending client, progress, and coordination meetings.

Mechanical Project Manager Requirements:

*

Proven experience delivering mechanical packages on Tier 1 commercial projects.

*

Background working for a Tier 1 M&E or Mechanical Contractor.

*

Mechanical trade or engineering qualification.

*

SMSTS or equivalent.

*

Strong commercial awareness and technical knowledge of building services.

*

Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
