Project Manager
Highly regarded tier one main contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their established delivery team in Yorkshire. This role will suit a Project Manager with a proven track record of delivering large-scale commercial build schemes in excess of £10mil from inception through to completion.
Role and Responsibilities:
• Overall responsibility for the successful delivery of commercial construction projects
• Managing the project programme, cost control, quality and health & safety
• Acting as the main point of contact for clients, consultants and key stakeholders
• Leading and coordinating Site Managers, subcontractors and supply chain partners
• Ensuring projects are delivered in line with contractual obligations and company procedures
• Managing risk, change control and reporting project progress to senior management
• Ensuring full compliance with all OHS and company HSEQ standards
Requirements:
• Proven experience delivering commercial new build projects in excess of £10mil
• Strong understanding of the full project lifecycle, from pre-construction through to handover and post-completion
• Excellent knowledge of project management principles, tools and methodologies
• Strong understanding of construction procurement routes, contracts and value management
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to lead teams and manage stakeholders effectively
