Project Director – Frankfurt – Data Centre

A leading international main contractor is seeking an experienced Project Director to take overall responsibility for the delivery of a large-scale data centre project in Frankfurt. This is a senior leadership role on a flagship, mission-critical development for a global client.

The Role

As Project Director, you will have full accountability for the successful delivery of the project, overseeing all aspects of safety, programme, quality, commercial performance, and client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

* Overall leadership and governance of the project

* Full P&L responsibility, including commercial performance and risk management

* Leading and coordinating senior project teams (Construction, Commercial, Engineering, EHS, Commissioning)

* Managing client relationships and acting as the primary point of contact

* Ensuring delivery to programme, budget, quality, and safety targets

* Driving project strategy, sequencing, and execution planning

* Overseeing procurement strategy and key subcontractor appointments

* Managing risk, change, and opportunity at project and portfolio level

* Ensuring compliance with contractual, statutory, and corporate requirements

* Reporting project performance to regional and executive leadership

About You

* Proven experience as a Project Director or Senior Project Manager on large, complex construction projects

* Strong background in data centre, mission-critical, or complex industrial developments

* Excellent commercial and contractual understanding

* Demonstrated leadership of large, multidisciplinary teams

* Strong client-facing and stakeholder management capability

* Experience delivering projects in Germany or across Europe is highly advantageous
