Location: High Wycombe (Hybrid: 4 days from home)
Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 DOE

Overview

Our client is a specialist façade contractor delivering complex and high-value building envelope projects. They are seeking an experienced Senior Designer to join their team, supporting projects across design development and construction stages. This role offers flexible working with the majority of time from home.

Key Responsibilities

Produce detailed façade design and construction drawings

*

Develop designs from tender stage through to construction and as-built

*

Coordinate with project managers, QSs, site teams, and clients

*

Ensure designs meet specifications, regulations, and industry standards

*

Manage design information, technical queries, and RFIs

*

Support value engineering and design optimisation

*

Mentor and provide guidance to junior design team members

Requirements

*

Proven experience as a Senior Designer in construction

*

Experience in façades, cladding, curtain walling, or specialist envelope systems highly desirable

*

Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit experience advantageous)

*

Strong understanding of UK building regulations and technical standards

*

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

*

Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently
