Location: London / Essex (Hybrid Working)
Salary: £60,000 – £80,000 DOE

Overview

Our client is a leading specialist façade contractor delivering high-value and technically complex building envelope projects across the UK. They are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive new business growth, develop client relationships, and support strategic expansion in the London and Essex regions.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the façade and building envelope sector

*

Develop and maintain strong client relationships with main contractors, consultants, and architects

*

Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and tenders

*

Collaborate with commercial, design, and project teams to ensure accurate and competitive bids

*

Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform business strategy

*

Support the development and execution of sales and marketing plans

*

Attend industry events and networking opportunities to promote the business

Requirements

*

Proven experience in business development or sales within construction, ideally in façades, cladding, or specialist subcontracting

*

Strong understanding of the construction market in London and the South East

*

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

*

Self-motivated, target-driven, and commercially aware

*

Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and clients

*

Willingness to travel across the London and Essex regions
