A well-established, family-run Mechanical & Electrical contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Mechanical Contracts Manager to join their growing team.
The business has built a strong reputation delivering commercial refurbishment projects across the UK, with the majority of work based in the Midlands. Project values typically range up to £2 million, covering sectors such as commercial offices, education, healthcare, and industrial refurbishments.
The Role:
You will be responsible for the successful delivery of multiple mechanical packages from pre-construction through to final account.
Key responsibilities include:

Managing mechanical projects from handover to completion
*
Overseeing site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
*
Programming works, labour planning, and progress reporting
*
Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification
*
Managing variations, valuations, and final accounts
*
Ensuring compliance with H&S and company standards
*
Liaising closely with clients, consultants, and internal teams
Requirements:
*
Proven experience as a Mechanical Contracts Manager (or strong Mechanical Project Manager looking to step up)
*
Background delivering commercial refurbishment projects
*
Strong mechanical building services knowledge
*
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
*
Excellent communication and organisational skills
*
SMSTS / CSCS (preferred)
*
Full UK driving licence
