Senior Quantity Surveyor – Finland

A well-established international main contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to support the delivery of a large-scale data centre project in Finland. This is a key commercial role within a fast-paced, technically demanding environment, offering long-term career progression on major mission-critical developments.

The Role

You will be playing a central role in managing the commercial performance of the project, working closely with the Commercial Lead and wider project team to ensure financial control, contractual compliance, and value delivery throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Managing cost control, forecasting, and financial reporting for assigned work packages

*

Supporting subcontract procurement, tender analysis, and contract negotiations

*

Administering subcontractor accounts, valuations, and payments

*

Managing variations, change control, and cost impact assessments

*

Assisting with monthly cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and final accounts

*

Supporting risk and opportunity management from a commercial perspective

*

Ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and internal commercial procedures

*

Working closely with construction, engineering, and planning teams to align commercial and project objectives

What we're looking for

*

Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related discipline

*

Strong experience in a Quantity Surveyor or experienced Project QS role

*

Background working for a main contractor on large construction projects

*

Experience on data centre, mission-critical, or complex industrial projects is highly desirable

*

Good contractual knowledge and commercial awareness

*

Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills

*

Experience working on projects in Finland or across Europe is advantageous
