Site Manager – Social Housing Planned Works (Permanent Role)
Location: South London & Kent
We are working with a Tier 1 contractor who are looking to grow their delivery team due to a very busy 2026 pipeline, with multiple social housing projects now being cleared through Gateway 2. As a result, they are seeking an experienced Site Manager on a permanent basis to deliver planned works across South London and Kent.
The role will involve managing a range of internal and external refurbishment projects, including kitchens, bathrooms, roofing, and cladding works, within occupied social housing properties.
Key Responsibilities
Day-to-day management of site operations on social housing planned works projects
Overseeing internal works (kitchens and bathrooms) and external works (roofing, cladding, associated repairs)
Managing subcontractors, direct labour, and suppliers
Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to required quality standards
Maintaining strong health & safety compliance across sites
Liaising professionally with residents, site teams, and project stakeholders
Completing site documentation, progress reports, and quality checksEssential Requirements
Previous experience as a Site Manager within social housing planned works
Proven experience managing both internal and external refurbishment projects
SMSTS
CSCS (Site Management level)
First Aid at Work
Full UK driving licence
Strong organisational and communication skills
