MEP Lead – Germany – Data Centre

An international main contractor is seeking an experienced MEP Lead to take ownership of building services delivery on a major data centre project in Germany. This position plays a critical role in driving performance across mechanical and electrical works on a technically demanding, fast-paced scheme.
The Role
The MEP Lead will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of all MEP activities on site, working closely with construction, commercial, commissioning, and client teams to ensure systems are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities

Managing the end-to-end delivery of mechanical and electrical installations

Coordinating MEP contractors, vendors, and design teams
*
Ensuring works align with programme milestones and construction sequencing
*
Monitoring quality, safety, and technical compliance
*
Supporting commissioning, testing, and staged handover activities
*
Managing interfaces between multiple buildings or phases
*
Resolving technical issues and driving solutions on site
*
Reporting progress, risks, and key metrics to project leadership
What we're looking for
*
Engineering qualification in a relevant building services discipline
*
Extensive experience in an MEP leadership role on large construction projects
*
Strong understanding of data centre infrastructure and critical systems
*
Experience working under main contractor delivery models
*
Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
*
Previous experience delivering projects in Germany or across Europe is an advantage
Package
* Basic Salary up to €170,000 depending upon experience
