Fire Supervisor – Multiple FRA Contracts (Permanent Role)
Location: On the road / Various Sites
We are seeking experienced Supervisors to lead multiple FRA contracts across London and surrounding areas. Candidates can come from either a fire stopper or carpenter background and should be looking to step up into a supervisory position. You will be responsible for overseeing high-quality passive fire protection works, ensuring all installations comply with the latest regulations, manufacturer specifications, and client requirements.
This is a hands-on supervisory role, where you may continue to carry out some fire stopping works while managing a team. Strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of passive fire protection principles are essential.
What You’ll Be Doing
Supervise multiple FRA contracts across sites, leading teams of fire stoppers and carpenters
Carry out fire stopping installations when required, including fire-resistant partitions, service penetration sealing, linear joint sealing, soffit insulation, curtain wall fire protection, and structural fire protection works
Interpret and follow site drawings, specifications, RAMS, and manufacturer guidelines
Ensure all works meet passive fire protection regulations and industry best practice
Record work accurately using compliance logs, installation sheets, and photographic evidence
Coordinate efficiently with site teams, project managers, and clients
Maintain a safe working environment, adhering strictly to company and site Health & Safety requirements
What You’ll Bring
Essential:
Experience in passive fire protection or carpentry, with a desire to step into a supervisory role
Strong understanding of fire-resistant partitions, curtain walling, fire protection, and service penetration sealing
Ability to read drawings, understand specifications, and follow installation instructions
Proficiency with a wide range of fire stopping products and hand tools
Full UK Driving Licence
Strong communication, documentation, and team management skills
Ability to work independently and lead a team in a fast-paced construction environment
NVQ Level 2 in Passive Fire Protection
Desirable:
Experience working under accredited schemes such as FIRAS or BM TRADA
Knowledge of industry compliance documentation and reporting requirements
