Estimator (Build)

Are you an experienced Construction Estimator with a passion for setting up and leading your own team? We are looking for a proactive and skilled Estimator to join this business, in what will (initially be) a standalone role, with the potential to expand the team over the coming years. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of the Estimating team and make a significant impact in the business

Based in Liverpool City Centre, this business operates as a Main Contractor and specialises in projects across Construction, including New Build & Maintenance across a variety of sectors
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and manage the Estimating department from the ground up
Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects
Work on tenders up to £2m in value
Price tenders accurately and competitively to win new business
Implement and manage estimating software, and ideally have experience using Conquest
Engage in business development activities to identify and secure new opportunities
You will have:

Proven experience as a Construction Estimator
Proficiency in Conquest software or similar estimating tools
Strong analytical skills
Experience in pricing tenders and business development
Ability to potentially mentor and grow the team
