A professional member of the First-tier Tribunal, Property Chamber, Residential Property (more commonly referred to as the Residential Property Tribunal) sits on a panel alongside a judge or valuer chair and in some cases another non-legal member. They advise on their area of specialist knowledge and participate fully in the decision-making after the hearing has been concluded, including contributing to the drafting of the decision.
