Disrepair Surveyor

We are currently recruiting for a Disrepair Surveyor to work on a initial 3 month contract starting ASAP for a busy local authority.
  
Your main role will be to ensure legal claims within Housing Repairs and Maintenance are successfully investigated and completed with minimal litigation, addressing tenants' expectations regarding property conditions. Responsibilities include conducting thorough inspections, coordinating and overseeing necessary repairs including monitoring the work of the trade teams and contractors, from start to completion, ensuring delivery of high quality work, ensuring clear communication with tenants, providing them with a detailed report to each case, achieving high customer satisfaction.
  
The ideal candidate will have repair inspection experience including social housing good practice, housing construction with an awareness of disrepair (housing condition claims).
  
The role will be 2 days in the office and 3 days onsite completing inspections.
