A regional construction consultancy based in Hull is seeking a Project Manager to deliver residential and commercial schemes across East Yorkshire and the wider Humber region. With a strong local client base and a healthy pipeline of work, this consultancy offers a secure and rewarding environment for a Project Manager looking to step up in responsibility.

The Project Manager will work on projects typically ranging between £3m and £25m, taking a lead role in managing stakeholders, contractor teams and internal consultants through the full lifecycle.

The Project Manager's role

The Project Manager will oversee multiple live schemes, managing delivery through all stages, from concept to completion. Responsibilities include:

Acting as lead contact for private and public sector clients

Managing project cost, time and quality performance

Preparing project documentation including reports, contract documents, and risk registers

Administering JCT contracts and overseeing procurement

Chairing progress and design meetings

Coordinating consultant teams and monitoring contractor performance

The Project Manager

The ideal Project Manager will have:

A degree in Project Management, Construction or a related discipline

3+ years' experience in a consultancy or client-side role

Strong understanding of JCT contract administration

Sector experience in residential or commercial projects

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Progression toward chartership (MRICS, MAPM) preferred
