Project Manager
A highly regarded construction consultancy based in Birmingham is seeking a Project Manager to lead multiple commercial and office fit-out projects across the West Midlands. This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager to join a dynamic and well-structured team working on schemes ranging from £2m to £30m.
The Project Manager will take full ownership of several key client accounts, delivering complex workplace and office schemes through all RIBA stages. This role is well suited to a commercially aware Project Manager with a consultancy background and strong communication skills.
The Project Manager's role
The Project Manager will be responsible for managing design teams, client engagement, and contractor performance from pre-contract to handover. Duties include:
Delivering Cat A and Cat B office fit-outs and commercial refurbishments
Preparing key project documents including reports, contracts, and risk registers
Leading stakeholder meetings and managing expectations
Administering JCT contracts and overseeing procurement
Monitoring programme and quality on-site
Providing technical and strategic input across multiple live schemes
The Project Manager
The successful Project Manager will have:
A construction-related degree (Project Management, QS, Building Surveying, etc.)
Consultancy-side experience delivering commercial or workplace projects
Proven ability to lead projects independently
Strong knowledge of JCT contracts and pre-contract processes
Progress toward MRICS or MAPM (or already chartered)
