Project Manager
A design-focused construction consultancy based in Central London is seeking a Project Manager to take the lead on a range of boutique hospitality and high-end residential schemes across the capital. Known for its client-first ethos and creative approach, this consultancy is ideal for a Project Manager who enjoys working on complex, design-led projects with demanding private clients.
With schemes ranging from £5m to £35m, the Project Manager will be involved in delivering beautifully detailed buildings from concept design through to completion, often in challenging urban locations.
The Project Manager's role
The Project Manager will be given autonomy across several live schemes, managing design coordination, programme delivery and client communications. Responsibilities will include:
Leading the delivery of new build and refurbishment hospitality and residential projects
Managing consultant teams and ensuring alignment with client objectives
Preparing and maintaining programmes, reports, and contract documentation
Overseeing procurement and contract administration, typically under JCT
Acting as the day-to-day client representative
Managing risks, changes, and quality expectations throughout the lifecycle
The Project Manager
The ideal Project Manager will have:
A degree in Construction Management, Project Management or similar
At least 3-5 years' experience within a consultancy or client-side role
Strong residential or hospitality sector experience
Working knowledge of JCT contracts and pre/post-contract stages
Client-facing skills and the ability to lead small to mid-sized schemes
Progression towards MRICS, MAPM or similar is desirable
