A reputable civil infrastructure contractor is seeking to appoint a Project Manager due to a significant increase in workload across its water framework portfolio.

The business specialises in the delivery of water and wastewater treatment projects, alongside general utilities infrastructure works, and has clear plans to expand into other civil engineering sectors moving forward. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing contractor that values its people and offers genuine autonomy.

The Role Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you will be operationally responsible for managing a portfolio of water projects based in the Bristol area, with typical project values ranging from £1m to £5m.
You will take full ownership of projects from inception through to completion, acting as a key interface between internal teams, clients and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
Full operational control of projects, including planning, programming and delivery
Managing multiple water infrastructure schemes concurrently
Working closely with technical teams during bid preparation and project planning
Acting as the primary interface between clients, designers and subcontractors
Building and maintaining strong internal and external stakeholder relationships
Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to a high standard of quality
Driving performance, compliance and continuous improvement across the portfolio About You This role will suit a confident, autonomous Project Manager who is comfortable leading teams and taking ownership of delivery.
You will also have:

A Civil Engineering qualification (Degree or equivalent)
Proven experience delivering contracts of a similar size (£1m–£5m)
Strong experience within the water industry (essential)
Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills
The ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
