Hays NI are currently working alongside a family-owned Co. Down building contractor & developer in their search for an Assistant Site Manager to join their operational team. This company has built an extensive project portfolio and are able to draw on over 40 years of experience within the construction industry.
The firm pride themselves on providing a client-focused approach to their operation and strive to provide the highest quality of materials and workmanship on each project they embark on. They have successfully delivered sizeable commercial, industrial, ecclesiastical and high-end residential schemes across the Greater Belfast area.
Your new role
This company are currently searching for an ambitious and driven Assistant Site Manager to join their team on a range of projects throughout Belfast, Lisburn & Co. Down. You will be reporting to the Site Manager, assisting with on-site operations day-to-day, ensuring high productivity and liaising with subcontractors.
You will ensure that health and safety protocol is adhered to and assist with toolbox talks and daily progress reports. This is an excellent opportunity to gain employment with an employer who will invest in your future and assist with learning and development opportunities.
What you’ll need to succeed
In order to be successful in this role, you must have relevant experience of working within site teams on joinery or carpentry schemes, preferably within residential schemes. You will be a self-starter, with a can-do attitude and a good level of organisation.
You will possess a high level of communication and be responsible for ensuring the site team are briefed daily on the scheduled works programme. You will be able to motivate the team to ensure finishing works are carried out promptly and all reports are addressed.
