Contracts Manager

We are working on behalf of a well-established main contractor who is looking to appoint an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee a portfolio of refurbishment projects across schools, industrial, office, and healthcare environments.

This is a key role within the business, offering autonomy, variety, and long-term stability with a contractor known for repeat business and strong client relationships.

The Role:

* Managing 2–5 live refurbishment projects concurrently

* Project values typically ranging from £1m to £5m

* Full responsibility from pre-construction handover through to completion

* Overseeing site teams, subcontractors, and supply chain performance

* Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to high quality standards

* Maintaining strong client relationships, particularly in live and occupied environments

* Regular reporting to senior management

The Ideal Candidate:

* Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or Senior Project Manager with a main contractor

* Strong background in refurbishment / fit-out projects

* Experience working in education, healthcare, commercial or industrial sectors

* Excellent commercial awareness and programme control

* Strong leadership and communication skills

Salary on Offer:

* Salary up to £90,000 + car / allowance
