This position is site based and a full UK driving license is required. Sites are around Warwickshire and Oxfordshire so you will need to live within a commutable distance form these areas.
Your Role as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor
Joining this main contractor means becoming part of a supportive, close-knit team where you’ll gain hands-on experience working closely with the project team. You’ll work on-site alongside experienced Quantity Surveyors, Site Managers and Design Managers, learning how real projects come to life — and playing an active role in their success.
You’ll be involved in:
* Preparing and managing cost estimates, valuations, and variations
* On-site measurement and cost control
* Supporting contract administration and commercial management
* Attending progress meetings and producing financial updates
* Collaborating with Site Management, Design, and Building Services teams
This is a fantastic opportunity to apply your knowledge in a live construction environment, while developing the technical and interpersonal skills you’ll need for a long-term career in construction.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking graduates who are eager to learn, or people who already have c. 2 – 3 years industry experience in a similar role. You’ll:
* Hold a BSc in Quantity Surveying / Commercial Management (or other construction related degree and/or experience).
* Share the company values of teamwork, integrity, and proactive problem-solving
* Have strong communication and analytical skills
* Be eligible to work in the UK
* Hold a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
