Location: Germany (Local Hire – Frankfurt / Berlin / Munich)
A well-established, technically focused design consultancy specialising in mission-critical and hyperscale data centres is strengthening its architectural capability in Germany.
This organisation is recognised for delivering robust, compliant, and highly coordinated architectural solutions on some of Europe’s most advanced digital infrastructure projects. Architects here work side-by-side with engineers and clients, playing a hands-on role in shaping buildable, efficient, and secure facilities.
You will act as the architectural lead on major data centre developments, managing design delivery and ensuring architectural solutions integrate seamlessly with complex engineering systems.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead architectural design management for large data centre projects
• Coordinate architectural consultants, engineers, and external stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with German planning, building codes, and client standards
• Manage design programmes, deliverables, and approvals
• Lead design coordination workshops and resolve technical interfaces
• Oversee design changes, RFIs, and document control
• Support construction and commissioning teams with architectural input
• Ensure high-quality architectural outcomes aligned with operational needs
Requirements
• Qualified Architect or Architectural Engineer
• Experience delivering data centre, industrial, logistics, or complex technical facilities
• Strong background in architectural design management
• Ability to manage multidisciplinary, fast-paced project environments
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Locally based in Germany (local hire only)
