We are recruiting an experienced Senior Contracts Manager for a small but well-established, growing principal contractor construction company delivering high-quality projects across commercial, industrial, health, and education sectors. Projects range from £10,000 to £3,000,000, and no two days are the same!

The Role

As a Senior Contracts Manager, you will oversee multiple construction projects from start to finish, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Key responsibilities include:

Managing multiple projects simultaneously and ensuring profitability.

Supporting and mentoring Site Managers through guidance and regular site visits.

*

Handling project costings, variations, and contract administration.

*

Procuring and managing sub-contractors, plant, and materials.

*

Building strong client and design team relationships.

*

Ensuring full compliance with health & safety regulations.

Requirements

*

Minimum 6 years’ experience in construction/contract management.

*

Proven ability to manage multiple projects effectively.

*

Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and communication skills.

*

Experience working with a main contractor.

*

NVQ Level 5 (or equivalent)

*

SMSTS certification

*

CSCS Black Card (or equivalent)
