Electrical Supervisor

We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our team on a freelance basis for a commercial construction project. The project may include fit-out, shell & core, office, retail, or mixed-use developments.

About the role

This is a site-based role overseeing electrical works, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and programme delivery are achieved.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise all electrical operatives on site, including electricians and subcontractors

*

Read, interpret, and ensure compliance with electrical drawings, specifications, and designs

*

Carry out regular site inspections and quality control checks

*

Coordinate closely with the Project Manager, Site Manager, and other trade supervisors

*

Enforce health & safety standards, ensuring RAMS, PPE, and safe systems of work are in place

*

Review test and inspection documentation and support commissioning activities

*

Monitor progress against programme, identify risks or delays, and report/escalate where required

*

Assist with snagging, defect resolution, and final handover documentation

*

Maintain accurate site records, including daily/weekly reports, timesheets, and material usage

Requirements

*

Minimum 3 years’ experience in an Electrical Supervisor role

*

Proven supervisory experience on commercial or industrial projects

*

Valid ECS Gold Card

*

SSSTS qualification

*

Full UK Driving Licence

*

Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills
