Solar Roofing Team

Our client is one of the UK's leading renewable energy suppliers. They have an exciting opportunity for a Solar Roofing Team (Roofer and Electrician) to work on a subcontract basis in Cambridge.

Job description:

* Domestic Solar PV installations, including electrical installation and bird protection on a range of tile and slate roofs.

* Installing various size panel systems (rates will vary on size)

* Carrying out the roofing only side of Solar Installations.

* Travelling around the Cambridge area.

* Working to set time-scales and deadlines.

* Adhering to strict safety regulations and be able to work from heights.

* Maintaining professionalism, high-quality workmanship, and full compliance with scheme requirements.

* Ensuring customers’ homes are treat with care and respect throughout the process

* Uploading evidence of work to Ecomaster.

Person specification:

* Must have a full UK driving licence.

* Clean DBS or willing to do.

* PPE required at all times: hard hat, hi-vis vest/jacket, steel toe cap boots, cutting gloves, eye protection, and correct uniform (tops provided by the client).

* Must be a time served roofer / Electrician and have relevant insurances.

* CSCS card.

* Any experience with solar panel installation would be advantageous.

* Must have or be willing to complete working at height, manual handling and Asbestos awareness.

* Must have or be willing to provide a basic DBS check
