A national steel fabricator is looking for an experienced Steel Estimator to convert customer enquiries into accurate manufacturing packages. This role suits someone with strong technical knowledge of steel fabrication and excellent client‑facing skills.

Key Responsibilities

Read and interpret technical tender drawings

*

Extract and price materials accurately

*

Determine fabrication process routes and timings

*

Obtain supply chain costs and prepare quotations

*

Liaise with customers and negotiate tenders

*

Maintain CRM records and pricing data

*

Build client relationships and identify new opportunities

*

Work proactively with strong organisation and attention to detail

Requirements

*

Experience as a Steel Estimator within structural steel fabrication

*

Strong technical understanding of fabrication processes

*

Confident communicator with excellent accuracy and time management

*

Ability to manage multiple enquiries and deadlines
