This company are an award winning, niche construction company who specialise in light steel frame solutions. They predominantly work on student accommodation, Ministry of Defence and later living projects and have had great success with these projects which has led to strong growth of the business. Due to this expansion, and strong order book for 2026, they are looking for a Senior Designer to join the team.
In this role you will be based in the office near Stroud 2 days per week with the rest working from home. Working alongside the Technical Director and other Senior Designers you will be a technical point of contact by managing and coordinating design team activities, providing clear direction and technical guidance. You’ll produce and coordinate design information using Revit, MWF and AutoCAD. This includes leading and coordinating design resources, producing detailed design information, managing risk and ensuring all outputs meet required standards. You will be involved in project specifications from initial concept through to installation.
The ideal candidate will be a confident and proactive Senior Designer or Design Technician with strong technical knowledge in construction or manufacturing projects. You will be comfortable taking responsibility for design delivery as well as communicating effectively with both internal and external teams. You will have good working knowledge of both Revit and AutoCAD. Any experience with MWF is desirable but not essential. You will be able to work under pressure and find logical solutions to technical issues.

The Role:
* Senior Construction Designer
* Manage and coordinate team of Designers on projects
* Produce and coordinate design information using Revit, MWF and AutoCAD
* Attend and contribute to internal and external design meetings, managing client expectations
* Work on multiple projects at once
* Hybrid role (2-3 days WFH)
The Person:
* Previous experience in a similar Design role
* Strong knowledge of Construction or Manufacturing design processes
* Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit
* Proven ability to manage multiple projects effectively
* Strong communication skills
* Live within commutable distance of Stroud
