Linear Recruitment are currently partnering with a well-established regional contractor to find an experienced Estimator for their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Estimator seeking growth and progression within their career; with a solid career path in place.
Working on various tenders across industrial, education, healthcare, heritage, and commercial projects; you will be an integral figure in the pre-construction team.

Responsibilities
* Producing accurate net tenders from drawings & specifications and work with the team to submit tender returns
* Obtaining rates for each relevant trade; knowledge of first principles in pulling rates together will be required
* Measuring quantities from drawings – including substructures, drainage and subcontract packages.
* Liaising with Senior Management and obtain their input into tenders, offers and proposals
* Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors at tender stage to obtain the most competitive prices; ensuring firm quotes are received for significant materials and subcontract items.
* Running more than one tender at any one time
* Attending pre and post contract reviews and client meetings
* Handing over successful tenders to the construction team
