Site Engineer

The Client and Project Info:

My client is a leading Civil Engineering Contractor who are currently recruiting a Site Engineer to work on a water treatment scheme in Portsmouth. The project involves delivering key civil and infrastructure works within a regulated water environment.

Site Engineer Responsibilities:

Setting out works in accordance with drawings, specifications, and programme.

*

Supporting the delivery of civil engineering works on a water treatment site.

*

Working closely with the Site Manager and Project Manager to ensure smooth project delivery.

*

Managing site records, quality documentation, and as-built information.

*

Carrying out QA checks and completing Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).

*

Coordinating subcontractors and monitoring work progress.

*

Ensuring all works are carried out safely and in line with health, safety, and environmental standards.

*

Assisting with surveys and technical problem-solving on site.

Site Engineer Requirements:

*

Previous experience working as a Site Engineer on civil engineering projects.

*

Experience on water treatment, wastewater, or utilities projects is essential.

*

Strong setting out and surveying experience.

*

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

*

Valid CSCS card.

*

SMSTS or SSSTS beneficial but not essential.

*

Strong communication and organisational skills.
