We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established regional interior fit-out contractor based in Derby, due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work.
This role would suit an Estimator or Estimator / Surveyor with experience delivering commercial office fit-out projects for blue-chip clients.
The Role
You will be responsible for pricing and commercially managing CAT A and CAT B commercial office fit-out projects, from initial tender stage through to final account, working closely with project and delivery teams.
All projects are located within one hour’s drive of Derby, offering excellent work-life balance with no national travel.
Key Responsibilities

Preparing accurate and competitive tenders for commercial fit-out projects

Reviewing drawings, specifications, and subcontractor packages
*
Managing project costs, variations, valuations, and final accounts
*
Working closely with delivery teams to ensure commercial success
*
Supporting pre-construction and client meetings as required
Experience & Requirements
*
Previous experience with a regional build or interior fit-out contractor
*
Proven background in commercial office CAT A / CAT B fit-out projects
*
Ability to estimate and manage projects commercially
*
Knowledge of Conquest estimating software desirable but not essential
*
Strong attention to detail and commercial awareness
*
Professional, client-facing approach
